The contracting environment with MA plans remains unsustainable – to the point that the question of “How can we make this work?” is being replaced by, “When to walk away?” During this session, we will outline 1) the walk-away business case, and 2) how to backfill the loss of MA revenue/referrals by:

- Developing higher-acuity services and joint ventures
- Contracting with other at-risk entities, such as ACOs and physicians
- Focusing on provider-sponsored health plans
