A fully employed and steadily growing US economy implies that our workforce challenges will continue unabated without an increase in the supply of labor that is on par with the ever-increasing demand.
During this session we will encapsulate the opportunity to tap into an important labor pool - foreign-born workers - as both a short- and long- term solution. Among the questions we will address:
What is the current and future magnitude of our workforce challenge? What is the available supply of foreign-born workers and do any promising niches exist therein? How do you appeal to the foreign-born workforce as an employer? What's happening with legislation and lobbying related to visas/immigration?
We will also share 2-3 case studies of your peers in the home-based/post-acute care space who are successfully accessing the foreign-born workforce.
