Medicare Advantage and Your Business Plan: How should you model working with MA?
The MA playbook for contracting with home health so far has been either 1) discount from Medicare, or 2) discount from Medicare plus bonuses. And with the carve-in now creeping higher on the radar, similar equations exist for hospice. It seems clear for our 3-year planning that some of our revenue is at risk. In this light, we'll discuss how to model this risk and change the conversation from "% of spend" to "% of value".
