October 10 - Workgroup: Value-Based Care

Are you playing offense or defense with your value based care strategy?

Organizations are taking different approaches to embedding value in their growth strategies. Some are playing defense, focused primarily on executing core programs like the Home Health Value Based Purchasing program (HHVBP). Others are looking to play offense, going after opportunities with ACOs and focused CMS programs, like ACO Reach. Over the next several sessions of our Value Based Care workgroup, we'll explore these alternative strategic options. 

We'll use the Intelligence Group's Value Based Organization Framework as a foundation to assess the external and internal factors that can help you chart your unique value based care strategy.
  • Are you "all in" with HHVBP, tuning your organization and processes to hit the key metrics impacting reimbursement?  

  • Do you have deep experience with specific clinical conditions that can provide leverage for securing referrals at reasonable rates? 

  • Are you a leader in longitudinal care that makes you a highly attractive partner for partners taking on full risk?
