Our April Value-Based Care workgroup session will extend our discussion on Patient Satisfaction. During our March session, we identified common challenges faced, and surfaced example initiatives being used by organizations to improve Patient Satisfaction.
In April, we'll dive deeper on the mechanics of patient satisfaction surveys, one of the key challenges and opportunities surfaced by the group. Specifically, we'll look to attendees to share their approaches to:

Educating front line clinicians on the surveys - the importance of discussing the surveys with patients, providing scripts and other prompts, and other techniques

Managing survey administration - consideration of multi-mode survey administration, other approaches to driving up response rates, ensuring balanced responses between those who have had positive and negative experiences

Learning from survey results to improve performance - analyzing survey data to prioritize improvements, sharing results, measuring progress, etc.
