For the first half of 2025, the focus of our Value-Based Care Workgroup will be on Patient Satisfaction and Engagement. We’ve chosen this topic based on input from our members, as well as our ongoing research on the key drivers of success for any value-based initiative. Patient Satisfaction and Engagement plays a critical role in many aspects of a home care organization’s value strategy, including:
- Direct financial impact through the Home Health Value Based Purchasing Program (HHVBP)
- Indirect impact on value partner success through influencing Star Ratings, HEDIS metrics, and other factors, positioning home health as a key part of the team.
Workgroups will be held in March, April, and May to provide an opportunity to share practical approaches to this challenging facet of our work. In addition, for those attending our Home Care 100 conference in June, we will get together in person to continue building on the findings.
