As the private pay market matures, direct care companies are turning their gaze upon Medicaid and/or Duals for deeper consideration. One path to success involves becoming an extension of the MCO as a care facilitator, meaning: acting as trusted eyes, ears and hands in the home for engaging patients in their health and wellness.
The discussion will be guided by our executive advisor Robert Mendonsa, former Deputy Administrator of Care Coordination for the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. In this role, Mendonsa was responsible for overseeing all aspects of $25 billion in managed care organization contracts.
