September 18 - Think Tank: Workforce of the Future

People are the driving force behind our growth and top-quality patient/client care. We'll explore innovative approaches - used in our sector and others - to both attract clinical and non-clinical caregivers and keep current team members on board. We'll be joined by peers selected from our community of leaders to share new ways of thinking about the next generation workforce.

September 24 - Workgroup: Serious Illness

This is the launch meeting for a rotating serious illness workgroup, to be hosted by our Executive Advisor Hank Ross. The main focus of this workgroup is the upstream move by traditional hospice and palliative care providers to enable patient-centered care while preventing unnecessary care and cost, thereby meeting a critical gap in the drive for accountable care. Initial workgroup curriculum will focus on: - Creating financially viable palliative/supportive care practices. - Aligning with and/or building/buying home-based primary care practices. - Participating in ACO REACH and other accountable/value-based care models.
