This workgroup is for all Intelligence Group executives whose roles relate to telling the hospice value story and growing hospice services. Our 4-month agenda for this group is to craft innovative strategies for developing and communicating the value of hospice at a time of changing referral and length of stay patterns. This workgroup will meet virtually in March, April, and May. For those members attending Home Care 100 in June, we will meet in person and share/discuss our findings with a broader set of peers from the community.
In our initial March meeting, we'll focus on:
-
Outcomes and the use of data supporting those outcomes
-
The experience of care as an especially important outcome
-
Positioning hospice as a partner in total cost of care for payers and other risk-bearing and referring entities
Participants are expected to come prepared to discuss their approach to the three areas outlined above.
